Uploading Photos
To: Select the category where you want the photos you are uploading to
go into. Placing your pictures into the categories you created means that you can
group your pictures any way you like. The first time you use the uploader there
will be no categories but once you create them then you will eventually get a Drop
Down List as shown below:
Image Size: You can select what size you want ALL the images being uploaded
on this try to be. There are several popular sizes available from small to large
so that you can have a nice simple way of turning out a sharp, uniform album or
portfolio.
Thumbnail Size: The images you upload can be shown on the front page among
other places on your site. They will be shown using the common thumbnail method,
whice is a little picture showing the actual image that everyone knows to click
in order to expand. You can select what size you want that little picture to be.
Many sizes are available along with a filter to automatically sharpen blurry or
fuzzy images.
Browse: Pressing the browse button allows you to find the individual pictures
you want to upload or the .zip file containing ALL the pictures you want to load
(they will be unzipped by your website automatically). Simply click the Add button
to add more slots for files. Once you are done then simply click the
Upload and Post button to upload everything all at once. You will know
it is happening when you see the screen below.
